NURS 3526 Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Online Course
Click the home page thumbnail to your left to view some of the topic modules from the course. This course included interactive lectures in Tegrity recordings as well as collaborative discussions and team presentations. A second undergraduate course, NURS 3814 in Psychiatric Mental Health nursing used Tegrity lectures, discussion and case analyses course activities. These courses also provided multimedia learning support resources.

Online courses in Psychiatric Mental Health nursing (PMH)) were designed for the master’s degree as NURS 6625 PMH I, NURS 6626 PMH II and NURS 6627 PMH III. Click this link to see module topics covered across these courses.

Sample Course Modules: The following course modules represent the process of developing module content that was supplied in Blackboard. The module outlines were developed in MS Word first, then entered into Blackboard as unformatted text. The video and other links in the Blackboard module pages were re-created in Blackboard modules so students could click through the learning materials in their Blackboard course.  The MS Word module outline was provided as a document download for student study convenience.

Module 1 - Neuronal Structure, Function and Psychopharmacology (N6627)
Module 4 -
Anxiety Disorders
Module 9 - Somatoform, Sleep, Dissociative, and Sexual Disorders
